Yes /NO: suicidal thoughts per se are very common in depressive and anxiety disorders, a lot more common than most people think. what you are talking about is suicidla risk which is a whole different level . if your providers feels like you are imminently at risk of self harm he nay commit you. but suicidal thoughts per se are not grounds for commitment . feel better
