i am day 28 post op for an tonsillectomy. i was wondering if it's normal to have bumpy enlarged areas where the scabs used to be in my tonsil beds?

Granulation tissue: This is not unusual at all. The healing response is called granulation tissue and the mucus membrane can have an irregular texture. By 2-3 months postop, everything should look relatively normal.
