How long can am eleven year old eat real food after getting her tonsils out? she already had to go back into surgery to excessive bleeding.

Depends: It is usually recommended 5 to 7 days of soft food while the throat heals. But if patient can tolerate solid food after a few days soft foods can be tried safely. Since there has already been some bleeding consult with your surgeon.
