Weight loss: .How long have you had type 2 diabetes and how much weight have you gained? There are many good exercises and if there is a facility close to you, take a look and decide whether that is a good place for you to work out. Your diet may also need attention. Go to "NuVal" on the web and find out a lot of information about which foods are good, not too bad, and no good for you.

The same: as anyone else -- eating less and exercising more. You have to burn off 3,500 calories to lose a pound. Try cutting out 250 calories a day to lost a pound every two weeks. It's not how fast your lose, but you need to learn to eat properly to not only lose the weight but keep it off the rest of your life. Good luck.

Walk walk walk: walking is easy on the joints and burns calories at a constant rate. Start with 30 minutes a day and try and work up to 1 hour a day. Use stairs whenever you can. You'd be amazed at how many calories that burns. Try to eat as much lean protein and fiber as possible. Green tea can also help increase metabolic rate.

Healthfully: To lose weight insure that calories burned exceed calories consumed. Drink at least 8 - 8 ounce glasses of water per day. Aim for at least 5 servings of vegetables and 4 servings of fruit per day. Use whole grain when possible. Avoid sodas, alcohol & junk carbohydrates. Get in a good mix of aerobic & weight lifting exercises.
