Yes, as long as...: You probably can't go to school at the exact same time you are getting an acupuncture treatment (the needles might fall out while you are sitting in the classroom) but there is no reason you can't get acupuncture treatments in the afternoon after you get out of school.

Agree w Dr. Baker: You can be fully functioning after acupuncture treatments. Auricular (ear) acupuncture done with semi-permanent needles can remain in place for 1 to 7 days with continual treatment. However you wouldn't be so likely to have regular needles in place during classes. I usually tell my patients not to exercise for at least 4 hours before or after a treatment.
