Tolerance: It is usually safe to take 30mg at one time. Take the pill with meals. You may take it 2-3 times a day. Practically you can take as much as you can tolerate. 1-3 tablets a day: Your ferritin is low but your hemoglobin is still normal for a female. Ferrous tablets usually have 325 mg. one tablet a day, if you do not have excessive bleeding might be enough. The maximum dose is one tablet 3 times a day. Higher doses may cause stomach issues like constipation so go up only as tolerated. Absorption is better on an empty stomach but might be harder on your stomach.
