Have ears inspected: Mastoiditis is due to chronic middle ear infection. Though you may not have symptoms now, signs point to a prior episode with the chronic effects noted on your CT. Refer to your physician or a specialist to inspect and clean the ear canal as well as determine if you need oral antibiotics or eardrops. If active and left untreated, further complications are possible.
