Depends: Most health care professionals recommend against one of the main reasons being salmonella. Having said that the bacteria are usually outside in the shell. If the shell is thoroughly cleaned, getting the white/yolk to a glass to drink it without bacteria is more likely. Having said that most will recommend not to do it. I must admit I do it sometimes though.
