Ask OBG: There are different beliefs on getting local anesthesia during the first trimester. I would ask your Dr. and/or OBG.

It is very safe: Dental care and dental anesthesia is safe and essential during pregnancy. Pregnancy is not a reason to defer routine dental care or treatment. Good luck!
