It's not certain: That you caused injury, but it also isn't normal to have pain when you breathe. Do you have any other symptoms? Nausea, headache, vomiting? If you don't feel better after breathing fresh air for a while, it would be worth calling your primary doc or their on call service. If you have severe pain, or any other symptoms, consider a visit to urgent care.
