Blood test scares me, my gpt (alt) is 48, the range is 10-40, does it mean i have liver disease? i don't drink, i don't smoke, i have no symptoms.

Abnormal AL T: ... Can be a sign of liver disease, but when the other liver tests are normal, it most likely will turn out not to be a big problem. It is important for you to have a repeat set of liver tests in a few months, to be sure that it has gone back to normal, however. If it is still abnormal, good further testing may be necessary. Be sure to follow up. Good luck.
