when doctors say it is healthier to snack on nuts, do they also mean peanuts, corn nuts, or pine nuts? those 3 are not truly nuts, right?

Usually Tree Nuts: Healthy nuts are those high in good fats, protein, vitamins including almonds, brazil nuts, pistachio, hazel nuts peanuts, walnuts,not pine nuts nor corn nuts.

Salt: Definitely. Try some veggie and fruit slices instead. Salt (especially processed) will cause peripheral swelling of hands and feet.
