Yeast infection: Having a yeast infection in the mouth and throat from inhaled steroid is not that uncommon especially for those who fail to gargle after each use. A topical Rx antifungal agent can usually eradicate this problem but it will come back if you don't gargle after. For a few people, even gargling would not prevent the yeast infection. Sometimes using an Aerochamber with Advair HFA (salmeterol and fluticasone) may help.
