Tramatic Arthritis: Arthritis can be caused by the trauma of your fall. You also may have a soft tissue injury that can actually be corrected. For instance a meniscal tear or plica (scar tissue). And there's always the possibility of rheumatoid arthritis or other unusual cause. You should see a orthopedic surgeon for evaluation and x-rays.
