Botox & Thyroid: Botox is injected superficially. Hyperthyroidism or thyroid nodular cysts resulting from Botox injections have never been reported. I recommend you check your thyroid function with your primary care provider or endocrinologist

No it can't: the neuromodulator temporarily stops release of neurotransmitters to weaken muscles and will go away

At first I thought it was the Botox that caused difficulty swallowing but my doctor did a thyroid blood test and says it's hyperthyroid. ?
LYMPHOCITE 44.6. RANGE 12-44. Should I be concerned? Have multi-nodular thyroid condition - hashimotos. No hypo or hyperthyroidism. Thyroid checked july 2019 - all fine.
Do thyroid specialists and otolaryngologists treat hyperthyroidism and thyroid cysts. Can they perform surgery if needed?
