Maybe: Halcion (triazolam) and valium are sedative drugs in the benzodiazepine family. They are given to anxious and/or phobic patients prior to treatment to better help them tolerate an appointment. They have two main effects: sedation and amnesia. In other words, they relax and stop memory while active. Effective dosages vary among patients, so whether or not it works for you is unknown, but i recommend it.
