Talk to your doctor: Blackouts from Halcion (triazolam) are a well-known side effect, sufficiently known that Halcion (triazolam) is no longer approved for prescribing in Britain. Tell your doctor about it. There are other medications available.

Halcion: Halcion is a short acting benzodiazapine prescribed to treat insomnia. It is a Sedative/Hypnotic agent. Generic name is triazolam. Blackouts are clearly a safety concern. There are much safer medications that can be prescribed for anxiety. Please let your prescribing doctor know. Take care.
