Talk to doc: Blackouts are a problematic side effect with a sedative like triazolam. Obviously this can be dangerous. You should call the doctor and let her or him know right away and see what is recommended. Stopping triazolam abruptly can lead to withdrawal, which can also be dangerous, if you have been taking it long enough at a high enough dose. Don't combine it with alcohol or drugs.

Halcion: Tell your doctor right away because that is a very dangerous side effect. There are many safer medication alternatives for the treatment of anxiety. It is quite short acting, so it is generally used for insomnia.

MEDICATION: This medication is not right for you. Please consult a Psychiatrist. If not comfortable with your Dr. see another for a second opinion & have a physical exam to rule out illness. Antidepressants help but may not be enough, they do not teach you coping mechanisms. Psychotherapy with a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in multiple types of psychotherapy can help your medications to work better.
