Exercise: Blood pressure tends to increase temporarily w/weight lifting but strengthening should still be a definite part of everyone's exercise program, along w/aerobics, stretching/flexibility & balance. These latter elements tend to lead to lower blood pressure in the long run. In general, comprehensive regular exercise leads to lower pressure. That and eating healthy. Good idea to avoid adding salt.
