What is the difference between tonsillitis and glandular fever?

Description/diagnoss: Tonsillitis is just a lay term for the tonsils being infected or inflamed. Glandular fever is a lay term usually linked to EB Virus mononucleosis, a specific condition where the tonsils are often inflamed.
