A member asked:

Can you have bad results with dexedrine but success with adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine)?

Maybe.: Studies have shown that going from one class of stimulant (amphetamine to methylphenidate) can lead to better benefit or fewer side effects or both. Within the same class (dexedrine & Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) are both amphetamine), chances of a major difference is lower, but Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) has several different types of salts, which may affect how well it is tolerated. Worth a try; you'll know in a few days.
