can any doctor suggest me some reasons why infant male circumcision is wrong?

1 doctor answer
Dr. James Ferguson
45 years experience Pediatrics
Why: Some of the anti-circ crowd try to equate this with the female mutilation performed by some radical groups. That practice removes the clitoris and hood, to prevent promiscuity. This would be equal to removing the penis and scrotum. Obviously not part of a circ. Recent Canadian data suggests the benefit/risk supports the process. I consider it cosmetic.
