Yes, potentially: It depends what your goals are. Are you trying to go into a military academy, SF, or obtain diving or airborne status? You need pretty much perfect vision, and can't be colorblind. If you are aiming to go into a branch of the military with different interests, your MOS may allow some deficits in acuity that are correctable with lenses. The military also will not accept degenerative conditions.
