GERD: .. or gastroesophageal reflux disease is at the top of my list of what the problem might be. Perhaps this first started in the last weeks of pregnancy, but, I agree, with weight loss it should have improved. Try a proton pump inhibitor (Nexium (esomeprazole) type drug) or H2 blocker (Zantac type drug) for at least two weeks. Pursue recommended work up including possible endoscopy &/or CT scan with your doctor.
