Probably ok.: A node that swells with an obvious infection usually is benign. It may stay swollen forever, but most reactive nodes are less than 1 cm in diameter. Progressive enlargement over 1 cm, associated symptoms like redness, tenderness, fever, chills or night sweats would call for evaluation. See your healthcare provider if concerned.
