Flu after surgery: Recovery from surgery is a time of vulnerability, and catching the flu or a cold is not uncommon. Check in with your surgery team. They may consider a flu shot or anti-virals. Make sure you have a post operative appointment. Then take it easy, rest, oral hydration. Call or go in if you develop fever, rash or vomiting. Be well.
