Chewed gum and eye: Chewed gum to the eye. Generally not a significant issue. Make sure you rinsed eye well with warm water. A warm compress to eye 10-15 minutes helps. Monitor change in vision, drainage, sticking of eyelids, increasing redness, increasing pain. If these symptoms develop then do get checked by your doctor.
