No real guarantees: Contagiousness varies among different "stomach viruses" and among different people, so is not easily predictable. However, one can feel safe if it is 6 days after exposure. Most people would have shown symptoms by days 2-4. If unlucky, really unlucky, one can still come down with the illness. The only things guaranteed in life are "death and taxes."
