Uncomfortable?: Is your 4 year old able to tell you if he is hurting? Does he seem well when he is not having a tantrum? Is he eating and sleeping well? Is he without fever? While meningitis is not likely, there may be something else hurting him such as an ear infection or abdominal pain. He should be examined to determine the cause of his discomfort.
