See your doctor: Sometimes it is difficult to tell where the pain is coming from. From what you are describing it is possible that you might have an irritation of your stomach lining i.e. gastritis or Gerd, both of which can cause pain in the area as well as nausea.if the pain is from your ribs, you need to get at least an x-ray of the ribs.
