If you do nothing...: ...there are 3 possibilities: 1. It will go away by itself; 2. it will stay the same for the rest of your life; 3. it will get worse, and if it's something really dangerous, maybe kill or permanently impair you. So you can wait to see if it's the first possibility, and maybe you'll get lucky. Or, you can see a doctor about it. Do you like to gamble, or do you tend to be averse to risk?
