Inflamed Moles: Periodically moles can get irritated and become inflamed. When this occurs they can become red, swollen and even bleed at times. While an inflamed mole isn't necessarily cause for concern, it is important to have any changes examined by a dermatologist. Inflamed moles can be removed by a dermatologist if deemed appropriate.
