Maybe: Many moles start out as flat and then become raised. Moles can be itchy. Neither of these signs would prompt major concern, but it can never hurt to have it checked. Become concerned if change in color, especially getting darker, looking different from your other moles, more than one color in the mole, irregular borders. A dermatologist can look at the mole under a magnifying lens in office.
