Neuropathy: makes one more susceptible to focal nerve compression. If you have underlying neuropathy find and treat the causes. It may be time to schedule a follow up with your neurologist to see if you have developed other problems like Carpal Tunnel, Tarsal Tunnel, Ulnar neuropathy or Peroneal Neuropathy as the treatment may be different than what was suggested a year ago.
