Yes: B Complex vitamins are water soluble and so your body will excrete what you do not need. It is safe to take them without consulting a doctor but do not take higher than recommended doses. They will make your urine bright yellow. It is always better to get vitamins from food, but if your diet is not great or if you are vegan or vegetarian, adding B vitamins is probably a good idea.
