Because: endometriosis are islands of the uterus cells scattered outside the uterus majority are located around the uterus and the ovaries some could be located on the colon and the small bowels rarely they could be located inside or on the lining of the stomach,small bowels,or large bowels
So when it is your periods started ,these cells bleed as well and cause inflammation and sometimes bleeding
