Itching after scabie: Scabies treatments often contain a high percentage of alcohol which can be very drying to the skin. All of the little bumps are remnants of where the mite lived in skin. Hypoallergenic soaps and lotions which are pH balanced will help the skin recover more quickly, and reduce the itching that can last up to two weeks after treatment.
