Wisdom teeth: Timing of antibiotics (ie before or after or both) makes little difference in healing or resolution of symptoms. What does matter is technical skill of the surgeon, health of the patient, and compliance of patients in following postoperative instructions especially not using tobacco. Everybody heals at a different pace, but if unsure, see your surgeon.
