I had a wisdom tooth extraction 2 weeks ago and there is still a deep hole where it was, no pain but food gets stuck. will there always be a hole?

4-6 weeks: For the gums to heal might take 4 or 6 weeks. The reason is they fill in from the bottom up, so the hole in the socket just gets shallower until finally it's all the way filled in. Clean the area gently with a qtip and rinse with mouth wash. If concerned see your dentist or oral surgeon for post surgery follow up appointment.

Probably Not: Everybody and every situatuion is different. The void where the tooth used to reside should level out.

No: Tissues well grow in that hole from the bottom up tel it becomes flat with the gums, just keep the area clean at all times, not to irritated and promote healing.
