My uvula is touching the end of my tongue. every time i swallow it feels like there's something in my throat and i don't know if it's serious or not. ?

Large uvula: May be related to gastric reflux which can reflux upward, irritate the uvula and cause swelling/infection or post nasal drip from sinusitis.It also can cause/exacerbate snoring/ sleep apnea. Would follow up this week with ENT( ears nose throat) doctor. May need to elevate head of bed, anti gastric meds like prevecid, or antihsitamines rarely surgery.
