Sore throat: You most likely have bacterial infection causing a sore throat and ear infection. For pain, use Tylenol (acetaminophen) and Ibuprofen. An OTC decongestant like Pseudophed could help ear pressure from a blocked eustachian tube. Consider an online visit through HealthTap for a trial of antibiotic like Augmentin 875 mg twice daily.
