A member asked:

I have fluid in middle ear will it drain naturally? have been told op and gromits, which i don't want, hearing returning slowly

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually resolves: Fluid in the middle ear, called serous otitis, usually resolves on its own. If it is severe and your hearing is impaired then the ENT surgeons can offer other solutions. If your hearing is returning then I would give it a while longer for it to resolve on its own.
