Carpal tunnel?: Consider carpal tunnel syndrome. This causes the tips of the thumb, forefinger, middle finger and sometimes part of the fourth or ring finger to feel numbness or tingling. It may feel worse with typing, writing, sleeping or driving. This condition can often be treated by wearing wrist splints.
