When will the pain ease with dexamethasone via iontophoresis? pt for knee pain, swelling, maybe plica or meniscus tear or arthritis a steroid injection did not work. pt gave me dexamethasone via iontophoresis. no reduction of pain & slightly worse?

"Meniscus tears" should be evaluated by an orthopedic surgeon , who may suggest a surgical repair. Normal activities or exercise may aggravate this condition, and steroid therapy will not resolve the pain caused by the injury.
