Impossible to say: because there is no way to know exactly what is IN what you are buying as "kratom." Further, it is strongly recommended that pregnant women NOT use kratom, because it has not been studied in pregnancy. However, it can cause an opioid dependency that is identical to prescription opioids, and this can cause dependency in the unborn child, as well as other effects. It has stimulatory effects as well
