Chiro says i have herniated disc causing acute onset sciatic nerve pain but shingles popped up at exact same time. could all my pain be from shingles?

Anatomy impotant: Where is the rash (what nerve root distribution (s)? What does the MRI look like (you can attach pictures of the study) And what does the EMG show ? (needs to be done at least 2 weeks after symptom onset for denervation pattern to be obvious. Treat for shingles and if symptom persist see a specialist to sort this out (neurologist or maybe a PMR physician. Hope this is helpful.

Yes: Stay away from chiros if you have a real disease. It’s dangerous and costly
