AnotherPainInTheNeck: Probably best to get your neck examined. Pain in the neck after a fall can be caused by a number of things but you don't want to miss a fracture, no matter how small. The chances of a break depend on how you fell, how far you fell and location of the pain on direct examination. The fact that it hurts when you extend your neck ('put it back') is a red flag. So best to be examined by a doctor.
