Check NG quality: It sounds like you didn't have this nightguard made by a dentist. The quality of what you bought comes into question. The nightguard should help your clenching but I would advise you to have it evaluated and constructed by a dental professional.

Nightguard: Get one from the Dentist-they can ask for very strong acrylic and it will be customized just for your teeth and will last a lot longer!

The best solution: is a professionally made custom night guard for teeth grinding by your dentist.

See dentist: Was it bought in a store or was it custom made by a dentist. If it was made by a dentist, call your dentist and he should be able to correct the problem. There are different types of mouth guards and they should not break after one day!
