He is correct: There is a greatly increased risk of severe sunburn while on accutane. While sunscreen may decrease the risk and/or severity of a sunburn, why take the chance and increase your risk of developing skin cancer?

I know it is well documented that drinking alcohol when on accutane isn't a great idea. One derm said recreational party drugs, whilst a bad idea in general for your health, are probably not much extra worse when on roaccutane? true?
My derm told me I would be at the same risk as a normal person from drinking alcohol 3 days after I finish accutane. Is this correct? Some doctors on forums suggest similar time periods whilst others suggest waiting far longer?
Whilst my derm has been clear in his guidance to avoid alcohol whilst on accutane, he said after about 3 days from last dose it would be safe to drink again? that is at no increased risk of damage to liver than a regular person. correct?
