Unfortunately it is a well known observation that many people have drunk alcohol while on Accutane through the years, but I recommend waiting for 2 weeks if heavy consumption of alcohol is planned as it may take that long for the medication to fully leave your body. Alcohol and Accutane can cause unpleasant side effects.

Alcohol is a poison that never did anybody any good, ever, so stay away from it. It will destroy your brain cells, damage testicular cells that make testosterone, facilitate development of cancer in many organs, cause hepatitis, cirrhosis and pancreatitis etc. There is no safe level of alcohol intake. Quit while you are ahead.

Let's say you were taking a medication A which can damage your liver. You certainly would want to avoid another liver-toxic substance like alcohol. So you might consider giving your liver some time to recover. If you wanted to be sure, you could campaign for a liver biopsy to be sure those cells look healthy, or you might choose an arbitrary time - 3 days? a week? 2 weeks? It's your liver.
